I just wanted to take a minute and thank all you guys at S-B.com for getting me back into riding. I found this site because I was very enamored of the Volusia, and a Yahoo search led me here one day, and well I just sort of stayed. Initially it may have been just an impulse thing to get a bike again, and even after the initial purchase I was a bit reticent about my decision. It has taken me several months to get comfortable riding again, for a while there I didn't think the nerves would ever go away. Now the nerves are just there to keep me observant, and I can enjoy the ride for what it is. Hell I'm even a bit grumpy when I can't ride to work and am forced to take the truck. I'm not sure who started this forum, (my first and still only), but I sure would like to buy them a beer. The info, advice, and commraderie I've found here have truely been an asset to me. Hell you even let me stay even after I purchased a Yami, although in my defense I was only following the sage advice of the forum to buy used.  . I think I have just used up my sappy/cheesy quotient for the next decade writing this. Thank God. I just had to say it once, because this place rocks. Thanks again. -Chris |
