Default Hunting season starts soon :-)

Moose season was this past week, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Upland bird and water foul start October 1st. I CAN NOT WAIT,,,,,,,,,, YEEEEEEEe ha. Fresh air, my son and our dog go when ever we can.

My wife sets me free for the season and never says a word about how much time I am gone hunting. God I love her!

I know Trappercase is going to be getting the bug really bad about this time. He has a new puppy dog that he has to train for hunting.

For the next three or four months I am going to be in the woods on my four wheeler or walking around scouting out new spots and fresh signs of deer.

I will make sure that I post lots of pics of the deep woods for all you city slickers to enjoy.

Just be happy you're in Canada ... remember, farther south you need to watch out for armed bears.

Hey, it's our right to arm bears! They need protection too

I got my bow out yesterday, then I went to the sporting goods museum and drooled on all the hardware I can't afford.

I have access to some new woods nearby this year. I haven't been out yet because I don't enjoy hunting when it's 80. Last year I got my first deer with a bow - a small 8 point.

Anyone hunt muzzleloader? The rifle season here is so crazy (you can't walk 50 feet without finding an orange guy in a tree) that I'd like to gain some time afterward. I'm studying the Savage smokeless inline models.

I've always wanted to try Bow hunting. I haven't hunted deer since the early 90s since I got into the dog game. I think Hunter (Brad) will drag me out this year. I always get my tag just in case. It's nice here, since the population is so low and there is a lot of what we call Crown Land (gov't owned) with more wooded area you could hunt in your life. New Brunswick is something like 60% uninhabited forest. Good luck Hunters , and be safe.

Brad, this is a woodc0ck.

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Wonder when the first person is gonna get shot and killed by their friend while "hunting" in the woods.

Heck, in the US of A you don't need to go into the woods for that!
