Well it is sunny here in Atlanta. Lots of good riding up here. Pack a couple bags and ride up this way.

I'm with you... I can't ride my bike today either because of the rain. First rain after a dry spell... all that oil has to cause accident to people somewhere. I just don't want it to be me in a motorcycle...

If I could get out of the house, maybe. The rain here is sideways! Bah, at least I got the day off from work.

This sucks...and blows.

All joking aside, I hope Rita isn't going to mess up Florida too badly. Hang in there.

Ha!Ha!Ha!Ha! too... It may be rainy now, but at least there is no promise of snow looming within the weather forecast for Florida & California ever. But that storm is nothing to laugh at... People are already considering evacuation in certain areas...

Ahh, you'll be laughing at us up here in the frozen north in a few months. Take a nap and forget it.

You bet, but I don't need a map, I'll have to plan on how much gas to put in and how much to ride the day before I put her away for the season though. The garage door faces the north, but I'm not sure if I should come in from the east or west to park her inside going south on my final ride for the year...hhhhmmmm. Should I pull up a chair and look at her for a while after I giver her a good waxing before I cover her up and put her to bed ......maybe take a few pictures to share with friends and to look at till spring?? Oh the dilemma

... No, no ... I'm laughing now!

Fortunately, even though the weather today completely sucked, where I live we did not see the worst of Rita. Like Katrina, we were spared again thank God. My prayer is only that Rita does not take the path of Katrina in the Gulf.

I feel incrediblely lucky seeing how both Katrina and Rita somehow both went straight by South Florida with minor damage in comparison to what these storms are capable of doing. Katrina is now a Cat. 5 and still strengthening, headed straight towards Texas. I survived the brunt of Andrew back in '92 ... it's not fun. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Rita's path.
