I play with what I can afford

I have an Essex Electric (pretty nice honestly) and a small crate amplifier.
I just bought an Ariana acoustic.....apparently Ariana is a BOTTOM of the line acoustic but I had 200 more dollars I could have spent.....I liked this one the most.

Never been to this part of the forum.. I think I'm going to be visiting here more often!

I'm a keyboardist now, but I was a guitarist first, and still play. My rig consists of

ESP LTD M-350 [rosewood, floyd rose trem, reverse neck, shark fin inlays]
Johnson Millennium JM250 power amp
Marshall 1960a 4x12 angled cabinet
1979 Marshall 4x12 angled cabinet [genuine 1979]
J12 foot controller

.. because who needs stompboxes anyway?!

Keyboard rig:

Roland RS-9 88-key
Roland XP-10 61-key
Carvin C800 8-channel mixer
Roland KC-350 amplifier
Boss BR-532 4-channel digital 4-track

Metal is the law.

Yeah. I resurrected this thread. While a lot of people in this forum have "been riding since they were a kid," (unlike me), I was playing guitar.

My live rig has been refined several times over throughout the years, but here is my present setup.
'72 Fender Telecaster Thinline Reissue, Lake placid blue (first of 12 to be made in that color), same guitar in natural finish for backup.
Soldano SLO-100 head, Fender 412 Stereo cab (next item to be replaced), Fender DeVille 410 for either clean channel or for the extra 4 speakers (F*ing LOUD when using the Preamp In from the Soldano). Boss DD-5 Delay, TC Electronics chorus/flanger, Prescription Electronics Experience pedal.

I have an entire bedroom full of other axes and gadgets that I'll probably never part with.

Guitar = Kramer Baretta. For the 300 bucks I spent on it, you can't beat a thru body neck with great pick ups.

Yup - mine's royal purple too

FX Processor = Digitech RP-14 - Great integrated tube + rectifier.

Output goes directly into my monitors through Cubase and Amplitube processing.

My first guitar was a Kramer Striker with an EMG-89 in it. Still got it.

'70 Tele-into-Fender reissue reverb tank-into-Traynor bassmaster-into-Ampeg 4x12 w/ celestions or 1X15 w/jbl. Or if it's a joint where hell could break loose I bring my early 90's Peavey classic 50 2x12 (guitar in one hand, amp in the other, out the back door, the drummer's on his own).

3 Agile LP copies with various pickups (one with S-D, one with DiM, one with Gib '57 Classic)
2 Strat copies (one Warmoth, one USA Custom Guitars)
1 Ovation
1 LaPatrie classical
1 silverface ('71) Pro Reverb
1 JCM800 2x12 combo, the 50W one, model 4404 i think
1 soldano hotrod 50 xl
0 mesa f50 (sold it)
0 mesa stiletto deuce series-1 (sold it)
a bunch of the behringer pedals that are rarely used, a tubescreamer, and i think i still have some boss pedals (CE-3B, PH-1, CS-3, ...)

i used to have an ibanez RG560 a long long time ago - white, S-S-H, pretty well as close as i could find to copy the Joe Satriani guitar on the Not Of This Earth cover since that's who got me interested in playing, and it was when i first heard 'The Crush Of Love' on the radio. damn i miss that guitar

haha you call a burris a medium amp, your a moron sorry no offense but thats a $4000 1 12" speaker amp, hand made (not very medium)

um to the other guy those are each the top of the line pedals in their own categories, that java boost is what john mayer plays with(its a blues treble booster)

but yea they do make VERY good music, just go to the websites and you can listne to them
