Default The Police?

I saw this on another board...

Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones' most "Spinal Tap" moment:

"We were doing drugs in the dressing room [at a concert in the early '80s]. Suddenly the tour manager stuck his head around the door and said, 'The police are here!' We all panicked and threw our drugs in the toilet. Then Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland walked in."

I once played a similar prank on some friends of mine. They were smoking in the bathroom of our Air Force dormitory, so I got some batteries and walked down the hallway clicking them together as I walked, simulating the taps on the MTL's shoes. I popped my head in the bathroom to spring the joke on them to find that they had thrown their cigarettes into a hole in the cinderblocks. They didn't find it as humerous as I did and I paid for it later...

One of the guys at the shop where I took guitar lessons built a custom acoustic for Ronnie Wood. This guy would've fit right into the scene described above, I think. He's very, umm, laid back.

It's pretty crazy how....altered levels of conciousness help to create art. Imagine SRV w/out the coke, or just look at the Austin City Limits series when he was pasty, coked up, and on friggin fire, compared to the clean and sober version done about 5 yrs later. Or Hendrix w/out whatever the hell he was on. I'm just glad he was "laid back". Imagine a world w/out Little Wing or Castles Made of Sand.

To each his own!! don't mess with me and I wont mess with you! Alcohol vs. drugs!
Who is to say what the right way is? Why knock somebody because you disagree with the way they go through life! Is it possible that the drugs they use(abuse) is what keeps them sane? ( I had more to say but I thought it was too deep!)

I disagree with the way you use punctuation. It could lead to using alternative fonts, which could lead to writing in tongues.
