Default Your loudest concert ever

Mine, Night Ranger in 1984. Ears rang for three days.

Motley Crue, Dr. Feelgood tour, 1989. I suppose the first is almost always the loudest since your ears take a beating.

I have only been to 2 gigs and both of them were quite different music to what everyone else is posting up.
I saw Madonna when I was 16 to keep a friend company, I wasn't a fan before the concert but I was after. The second concert I saw was 2 years ago, I saw Ja Rule, enjoyed that too.
I think any concert is enjoyable, even if you aren't a big fan simply because of the atmosphere.
I have also been to a few rave/dance events with DJ's and a few popular dance groups, I think they are always louder than gigs.

I'm young... don't hold it against me. Seether '03. I was like 8 feet from the speaker trying to keep up with the 2 drunk girls I was supposed to be taking care of.

I ears didn't work right for a few days, then rang for another week after that.

The Grateful Dead in Ventura, California in 1987. The first thing I heard after entering the fairgrounds was "Hey, wanna buy some acid? It's good stuff ... I just made it." That sort of set the tone for the afternoon.

Judas Priest in 1989 and a close second was Matallica in 1992 I believe I still have ringing in my ears from these 2 shows.

Side note....The best Concert ever was Pink Floyd in 1981...... The Who is a close second in 2000....2 shows that will last me a lifetime!

Steve Vai up close and personal at the Ranch Bowl in Omaha 1998 during the Fire Garden tour. 110 decibals in a room that held 200 people. Freakin' awesome.

Yeah, Metallica in 92. Hershey arena (inside) is not that big.

Oh man, definitely The Who back in the early '80's ... can't remember the exact year ... hmmmm, wonder why? I couldn't hear for nearly 3 hours after the concert and the ringing was horrid ... lasted nearly two days! Then came Rush; oh-ho-ho my eeeeeaaarrrrsssss.

Hey, 87gxrnut ... where did you hear Night Ranger in 1984? I was at Disney World for Grad-Nite '84 for them ... FRONT row ... I stayed for both sets; caught Brad Gillis guitar pick too.

I am going to amend. Now that I think about it, the absolute loudest show I ever saw was - believe it or not - the Cranberries at the Hard Rock in 'Vegas. This was four years ago almost to the day.

The reason I'm replying here: Rush and Pink Floyd are the two bands that I never saw live that I really, really wish I had. I would pay big bucks to see either of these bands if they toured again today.

I remember the Who, too. They were loud, but they didn't touch the Cranberries.

Come to think of it, I saw Cheap Trick in the 80's and it was extremely loud, and the sound sucked bad.
