Lucky girl. I've missed them twice. Once when I was a kid and had to go on a church retreat (one of the reasons I havn't darkened a church door since I turned 18 ), and the last time when my wimp of a friend couldn't hack a little rain. They came to Nashville when I still lived there w/ the Scorpions. Outdoor, amphitheater, and right after the Scorpions set the deluge began, and my buddy, Mr.Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, and collegiate athletic scholar (in swimming no less), says to me man we can't stand out here in the rain. I was like, "dude it's the Crue", but since I rode w/ him we left. I should have just taken a cab home.

If you get up close to Vince give him a Roshambo for me, for that VH1 makeover special he did.

DIO. In Phlly, September, Friday the 13th, 1986, for the Sacred Heart Tour. We were in the 6th row, center Stage, and I could "hear" my ears ringing on Monday morning when I got up for school!

If we are talking non-musical concerts then I'd have to say that having 4 KC-135's tooling up and taking off around the same time was probably my loudest. These where the older guys w/ out the bulbous "mufflers". They always seemed to take off around lunch time.

Summer Sanitarium 2000, Candlestick Park S.F.

Also did Security for a Rave at the Cow Palace a few months ago. I got stationed in front of 26 24" Woofers in front of the stage. That was cool
