Default Suggestions

While I'm sure -Nut's got some plans for his room here, I think it would be a good idea for us to give him some suggestions. The reason we thought it would be a groovy idea to set him up is because of his experience (nice word for "age" ) and knowledge base. Assuming the beer hasn't cleaned his slate totally, he's probably holding a wealth of information. Here's some of the obvious things I'd expect him to toss out there:

1) Track technique - First and foremost, track technique. Can you learn to ride on a track just by reading what another guy wrote on teh internet? Of course not, but you CAN hone some previously-acquired skills by listening to someone that's done it!

2) Wrenching - When it comes to old (there's that word again!! ) GSXRs, I truly can't say I know anyone that's had more experience with them. They're still out there, and folks still wrench 'em.

3) Beer Drinking - No explanation required.

4) Pics - Let's face it . . . -Nut is photogenic. He once went walked by a bus of Japanese tourists and it flipped on its side, due to the rush of photographers scrambling to that side of the vehicle. I bet he's got more old photos of the old-school race days than Motorcyclist Magazine.

5) Guitars/Amps/Music - You fix 'em up. You obviously know the internals. You play live. You don't do that without knowing a thing or two.

6) Chili - You're in Texas fercryinoutloud!! Post some good chili recipes!

Anyone else?
