Don't have the original case, but I do have a spare '69 case for it. Friend of mine bought it 10-years ago. I got it from him.

I was gonna guess.....from Joe Public w/ the original case you gave $2500 for it.

But...case is gone, (from the seller, but you have one) and you got it from a friend.....any rational assessment goes out the window!!! $1800 (?) I'll guess. If you don't want to say, that's cool. I'm just interested in the pricing of the guitar. If it's none of my business, I'd understand.

This would easily fetch between $5K and $6K as-is - no problem.

Market is a bit down right now too. I paid a LOT less that that.

Fender started using poly in late '67/early '68. This is poly. Worn, but poly nonetheless. The poly finishes got thicker in the 70s.
