Eh, debating whether I want that bike, or an '07 GSX-R 750. The VFR would be a better choice I think.

Nope. Don't need to. I have followed/ridden VF/VFRs since the beginning. I pretty much know what to expect there. As for the GSX-R, well, it will be light-years ahead of what I am riding now.

the VFR is certainly more comfy to mount, but i can't get past that whole single-sided swingarm and honda's insistence on linked braking. i suppose you could fairly easily undo the latter, though.

I saw a 25th Anniv RWB a few months ago at a dealership just a few minutes from my house. I was so ready to offer up my CBR for a trade. That VFR is a beautiful bike.

DO IT !!! put off the engine / maintenance on the 87 gixxer, that will save you an easy 1K.
