|  First 09' Group Ride - N. Georgia Cloudland Canyon - Hang Gliding Ride! Well winter is upon us. The mornings are frosty and the daylight is short. Oh how I can't wait until spring! This "not riding much" is already starting to get to me so I need to have something to look forward to. Fortunately spring comes pretty early to us here in the deep south and daylight savings time starts March 6th. I want to organize a fun group ride up into the N.W. corner of the State sometime in march. There's some good riding up there that doesn't get much attention. We'll take the interstate up to the Calhoun exit then take Hwy 136 up to the mountains. We'll explore around up there and also check out Hwy 157 & Hwy 189 as well. If you've never been to Cloudland Canyon your in for a real treat. It may be the most beautiful park in the entire state. Truly worth a visit. Also just a stones throw away is one of the best hang gliding spots in the U.S. We can stop and watch or if your real daring you can go for a 15minute ride with a pro.
