I have no idea....

I an new here but would love to tag along on this ride. I am in Leesburg Ga which is about forty miles from Andersonville. I may have missed it about Andersonville, but in addition to the National Cemetary, The Anderson Historic Site also includes the National Prisoner of War Museum. It cronicles what our troops faced as POW's in all our wars. It also includes , or used to at least a replica of the cell John McCain was held in at the Hanoi Hilton.
Also Cordele was mentioned, is nearby, and it has Veteran's State Park on Lake Blackshear. I went there yesterday to ride. They have displays of aircraft, and armor. Either or both are good destinations.
Unfortunately, on my way back from the park yesterday, my bikes clutch or tranny died. So hopefully, I'll be up and running when the date is set.

Why not just meet here at Sonic Drive-In 1015 E 16th Ave, Cordele, GA 31015 then all the bikes can be parked in the shade and no reservations needed this way Because I still have no clue on how many or if any from here to ride up there also no fancy cloths needed as well. That resort place looks like we need to dress kind of nice and if I’m going to ride this far 310 miles I don’t think I’m going to look nice lol all the Luv Bugs in my way to get there in all lol

On October 5th 2008, I will be leaving here from Wal-Mart Parking lot off Thomasville Rd in Tallahassee Florida after I fill my tank @ 9am should put me and who rides with me there in Cordele at around 1130am or noon30 depending on the speeds we ride and stops if any needed.

I can give you my cell number just in case its needed as well just let me know and I will PM it to you

lol but Sonic is not McDonalds lol I have beed at many car events at Sonic Drive ins and I didnt know that Georiga Had any lol not meaning to knock on Georiga but.....lol

and it still may take me and whoever till noon to get there.
If the Luv Bugs are out you cant miss me I will be covered in them lol

Well I heard from Tallahassee Power Sports about the ride. My contact there said they are having a Dirt Bike and ATV event on October 5th( Strange I thought they were closed on Sunday / Mondays) so he wont be able to get riders to go on this ride.
But he did offer for me to ride with them on October 12th and the ride ends up at his appartment complex where there will be a party lol I thinnk I might have to check that out on the 12th.

also I havent heard from the FSU Police guy yet so as of today it looks like its just going to be me riding up to meet you all at Sonic. Thier Loss for now lol

Okay I'm not really feelin' the "Sonic" thing. I found a biker friendly place at the marina on Lake Blackshear called the Cypress Grille. We can set out on the patio and eat/talk looking over the lake. I think it would be much more enjoyable. They open up at 11:30am on Sundays. All in favor say "I".

Just trust me on this one brother! The ride is the most important part anyway. But eating on the water is always better than staring at a dirty parking lot wouldn't you say?

I talked to Smurf yesterday and he's planning on coming. So is 1BadBaker. I'm not positive if Alex13 is coming or not yet. If it's okay with you a fellow rider from my town who's not on the journal is interested in coming along as well. He rides a Vulcan 900 and is a real cool guy.

Any riders are welcome by me lol still I only have myself going cant find anyone down here that wants to ride, well let me refraze that I found a lot of folks that would like to go but they dont have a bike lol so I tell them there is still time go and buy one and I tell them to go to the Suzuki dealer lol but they are all POOR no money lol
