On that last stretch before the AL-GA groups split, where the road had lots of those big grooves, I got pegged several times by that small gravel. I think I got one in the bottom of the radiator cover that rattled some when I got home. Nice ride though. We got pretty lucky and didn't get much cager traffic on the good mountain roads. I don't think anyone scrapped a peg but there were a few close ones. Ha ha. In the Bama pic, I look like I'm peeved to have my pic with the Bama group!

after hot shower, a bowl of soup (again) and a little nap, managed to get up and go online. that stock seat killed me!!! enjoyed the whole day though!!! thanks guys, and alex13, i'm no pro photographer, so just enjoy ok?  , sorry u couldnt make it.here are some pics!! enjoy

Enjoyed the ride guys, glad to see everyone made it home safe. Lookin forward to a Ga Mnts ride. Rode Dalonga before, that was a good ride.

Oh, and the "which color is faster" argument has been settled. Blurple is faster.  And Clint- we tried to get Cracker Barrel to send our lunch bill to you since it was a "business" lunch but they wouldn't do it. Maybe next time.

that was a fun time, had to wait till this morning to get online, had 280 miles on the bike from yesterday, with a combined total of 398 miles for the weekend, needless to say I took a shower then went to bed. Can't wait to see some of those georgia roads! Thanks for posting up the pics!!! |

I ended at 429.5mi when I got home. I'll have a 7 day stretch ending tomorrow with over 1000mi  Forgot to grab the memory card out of my camera, so I'll have to put up the few pics I have tomorrow.Alex, sorry you couldn't make it, I hope the family is doing well.
