Not sure how long from Scottsboro to Boaz, depends on your riding style and wherebouts in Scottsboro. If your on the Southend and coming down 79 I'd say about 50min to hour. We can be in Gadsden in 15min from Boaz. So, jims in Gadsden @ 9:30 we can leave here 9:15.

Dave, exit 75 is the one for Mall at Stonecrest right? If we're meeting at McD's, lets call it 9:15 (EST) in case anyone needs food/coffee/etc. Then we'll be off and rolling to meet Nathan and Alex.
Ben, 9:15 is good. I'll see you there.

Ride plans:

Meet at the Cracker Barrel in Oxford at 10:30am. We can hang out in the parking lot, chat then after everybody arrives we can do lunch at Cracker Barrle say about 11:00am. That way we can beat the church crowd to lunch and then we can hit the road afterwards when the church crowd is busy eating!

Sounds good to me. At the moment the most I remeber about Atalla is that funky turn that takes you under the bridge.

I'll be coming from 278.

Is the gas station just after I get off of 278 and onto 431 or is it closer to that funky turn under the bridge in Atalla?

Right or left hand side when going down 431 south?

I was just going to let everyone know that I might not be able to make the ride. My grandfather passed away this week and the funeral is going to be Saturday down in Brunswick. I may or may not come home on Saturday depending on how everything goes down there. So I will keep you updated and let you know for sure if I am able to go.
