I won't bore you with the route details but I'll get us there. Trust me if you dare!
You don't plan on taking any dirt roads are you ???????

I haven't logged on in a couple of days so I just learned of the date. I think I have that weekend off (it's just after Labor Day, and I have to work ALL Hollidays). Will check with the wife on her schedule, and see what my schedule looks like for the following Monday. If I can get the following Monday off I might stay the night and ride back the next morning (do some more site seeing in Alabama). Thanks for the invite and I'll be working on the time off.

Okay you Nimrods!!!! Enough with the dirt roads already. These Alabama boys are going to think your a couple of major wimps if you keep this up. That's why they put tread on those tires. Don't be afraid to use it. But yes, I've mapped out a 218mile ALL DIRT ROAD ROUTE to Oxford, AL for all those interested.....................that's going to be one lonely ride for me isn't it?

Harryson let me know if you want to meet up with me & Alex13.

You know I was joking about the dirt road route, right?

Meeting at Hwy 16 & Hwy 19/41 in Griffin at the Lowe's store parking lot. We'll take 16 all the way to Carrollton then jump on 27 to Interstate 20. Should only be about a 45 minute ride to Oxford, AL from where we get on 20.

We'll meet at 8:00am in Griffin. (2hr - 2-1/2hr Ride to Oxford from this point)

Thats sounds like a plan! we can work the details out closer to the date.

Also thanks for you guy letting me join you.

BUT you all must promise not to laugh when i pull up on the bike........I am just a hare tall for it, standing 6'7'' tall weighing in at about 280lbs. But it pulls my big but around just fine and i can rest my hands on my knees when they get tired

We don't laugh at people for physical attributes. That is not cool at all.
