| The Annual Honda Hoote is coming up in Knoxville in June, I just found out about the event a few months ago. Is it worth going to or is it just another ripoff that makes you regret having gone?! It's about a 3 1/2 hour ride and I don't want to waste my time if it's worthless. Thanks for your info!! CD

| Liek anything, it can be fun if you make it fun, such as going with a bunch of folks and camping, partying, and riding together. But if you check the schedule you'll see that it is mostly just stuff you can do on your own, without the crowd. So I skip the hoot and just see some of those same attractions with a few friends over the course of the summer. But to each their own.

| I'd pass on it. It is mainly just a vendor show. I went in '06. The only fun part was the demo rides. I rode a XB12S Buell LIghtning. It's one of those things I've checked off my list that I've completed, never to do again.........like Daytona Bikeweek........ |

| I go to the Hoot every year...and wouldn't miss it. Of course, living in Knoxville and being about a 20 minute ride to the site has something to do with it. I do enjoy the various riding exhibits (trials, etc.) and the demonstrations by the Knoxville Motorcycle Police Officers. I also enjoy walking around the parking lot with thousands of motorcycles, checking out what others have done with their bikes. Last year I rode along with and later met (without knowing who I had been riding with) Clement Salvadori, the super writer with Rider Magazine. So, I enjoy it, but I know some local riders who never go. Bob |
