 |  Any riders near Tampa, FL? Not sure if this is where I should be posting, but I'm looking for people in, or near Tampa, FL...I'm new to riding, and looking for experienced riders in my area that might be willing to help me out  |

| Welcome, Allie. My wife and I live over near Lakeland. Its a bit of a haul if you are new (and all the way in Tampa) but we go to some of the events in central Florida (like the ones in Plant City). Maybe we'll see you there. By no means are we seasoned riders but we've been through the MSF course and that helps a LOT. You should plan on taking the class ASAP (if you haven't already). It will save you a lot of frustration. I know, because I tried to ride on my own (with just a restricted license - a permit) and that was interesting, if not completely dangerous.
