Default Lookin' for adventure, and whatever comes our way!

Get your motor runnin'
Head out on the highway
Lookin' for adventure
And whatever comes our way

The above lyrics from born to be wild, are exactly what i am looking for.
Im looking for anyone in the South East, to step up with your highways and routes and roads and parkways, step up and name them loudly and proudly.

I want to get a list of epic proportions. A place were anyone in the south east, can come and find places to ride. Perferably roads that are curvy and feels as though it was made for us by us.

examples:
us129 Dragon
foothills parkway
cherohala skyway
28 fontana's mini dragon

feel free to show maps with the road highlighted the more details the better. also list cautions and tips things to know about the road(s).

I had a similar trip to yours I posted earlier in the summer: http://www.motorcycle-journal.com/fo...hard-ride.html
The Skyway was cool and the Dragon but I enjoyed the Boone to Bristol to Shady Valley leg of the trip the most. I only had time for 1 road in to the store and a quick stop inside to check it out as I was running out of daylight trying to get to Morristown before supper!
The Morristown to Oak Ridge trip the next day was pretty neat as well:
11E from Morristown to Jefferson City
92 from Jeff City to 11W
11W to Blaine
Blaine on 61 to 61E
61E through Luttrel
Luttrel to Maynardville Hwy
Maynardville Hwy to Halls to get on 131
131 to Hwy 62 though Oak Ridge, Wartburg, Lancing, and then on to Montery to hit Hwy 70 all the way to Dickson which is 40 miles West of Nashville.
You live in a cool riding area of our state. I lived in Knoxville for 5 years in the 80's and worked with a guy from your town. Lots of nice day trips from Straw Plains without even hitting the interstate. I intend to explore more of the Tri Cities area and will let you know what roads I find next time I am up that way.

HWY 375 Lakeshore Rd.
Grainger County Tn.
I think the name has been changed to Lakeshore Drive. It is about 1 mile north of Cherokee Damn. Go road to ride lots of curves.
