Just noticed this on the unofficial website..

I guess I won't be spending any money in Sauk County, then.

I rode back to work from my lunch break with just my cold weather and my rain gear on to see if it would work for this journey, or if I'd be stopping every 5 miles to warm up. I was sweating by the time I got to work. Uh-oh...the bare minimum is too much...

Shucks....better then being cold I guess, but now I have to try to figure out a happy medium that will allow me to be warm AND dry. It should either stop raining, or get colder. Either one will work!

Yeah, the rain gear keeps heat in until you accumulate a bunch of sweat. Then it's not so toasty.

I think we'll be mostly dry tomorrow.

Lol, I just went for a 50 mile ride to make sure all my stuff works too, good thing because they forgot to give me a splitter for my jacket liner, and with out it I only get heat on my liner but not the gloves, or if I plug into the other socket I get heat on the gloves bit not the jacket liner, so I went back to Dr Mudspringers and got the rest of what I needed and all's good now, I got home warm & dry.

Clint if you and Vinnie want to ride a more scenic route, you should try and get down here by noon so you can ride down with Nels, he has a route mapped out that stays off 94 all the way down, actually Kooter could hook up with them too if he wants to, J.D. and I are the only ones that have to work and can't leave that early.

Yea but you say they are a couple of speed demons - I'd rather not be going 100+...

I'd prefer to stick with you. I can't afford any tickets. I don't want to leave that early anyway. It's going to be a late night tonight. Taking Evan to a Twins game. Six short sentences. Make that seven.

I'm fine either way, just wanted to let you know there's an option.

So right now our meeting time is going to be based on the earliest time J.D. can get to Hudson, I think he said he works till 1:00, so that should put him in Hudson at about 2:30, if we meet him at a gas station we can all fill up there so we should only need one gas stop for the ride down.

If JD is meeting us in Hudson then we need a station with super. Last time we met there the station we stopped at did not have super and JD had to depart to get fuel elsewhere.

I have it worked out so I should be able to leave work at noon and head straight down to hudson. We can meet here and I will get gas somehow. There is lots of stations around there. I think I can be there around 1:15-1:30.

I just talked to both J.D. & Vinnie, and we are all going to try and be in Hudson by 2:30.

Kooter, there really isn't any need for us to meet at the Harley shop, so why don't you just plan on meeting with all of us in Hudson at the location J.D. picked Google Maps

Got your voicemail Rick. I was at a friends birthday party in an environment that's not very conducive to phone conversations (I'd be yelling at you and I wouldn't be able to hear you anyway). Stupid loud restaurants.

I'll plan to be there round 215 or 230 or so. You people should probably find me though, as I don't know any of you. I'll be the goofy lookin dude sitting by my lonesome with the orange sleeping bag! Haha.

Just flip all the bikers off that you see. This is a great way to draw attention, even better than an orange sleeping bag!!
