Hmmm....not a huge fan of crowds, but I think this sounds alright none the less. Do you guys have room for one more (if I get approval from the control tower that is)? Remember, I'm not a very aggressive rider, especially now that I'm putting the bars back on my bike (that's code for I'm slow in the curves). I'm fine with night riding.

No hard feelings will be had if you guys shoot me down.

It's fine by me.

Right now our plans are to meet at a spot not yet decided on (possibly the Hitching post in Hopkins) at around 4:00pm on Sat and ride south till we find a place we want to spend the night at, hopefully Sparta WI, than head east in the morning, so the plans are pretty loose nit at this point in time.

The only thing we have written in stone is that we that we are all a bunch of cheep SOB's and plan on finding the cheepest motel we can.

Cheap SOB's are my kind of SOB's! I guarantee you cost is going to be the issue that will come up tonight when laying out my plans to the wife.

You guys planning on coming all the way home on Sunday, or do I need to take Monday off of work?

I may be able to get us a room on the south end of Wi Dells where we have a timeshare property. I could have my wife look into it tomorrow. How many would we need beds for. She would have to check availability.
I have to work sat AM. I wasn't planning on this til I seen your gonna leave later.

Vinnie and I have also stayed at this hotel. He just quoted me 59+tax and they have a continental breakfast. Bikes can be parked right outside the rooms. What say you Vinnie.

A bed would be ideal, but all I really need is a roof over my head and an electrical outlet. I'm not sure how I'm going to do it yet, but I'll be strapping on a sleeping bag onto my bike in case beds come up short.

Works for me but only if the others want to go there. Nice and clean from my recollection.

Yes, I have your number. It will take me two hours to get there. The time I leave Sunday probably depends on how far you guys get the first day.

It's confirmed...I'm IN! How much cash do I need to contribute to the hotel fund? Or is everyone getting their own room?

Thanks for the offer JD, that sounds fine to me, there let us know if anyone needs to bring sleeping bags.
If you don't have enough room for all of us we can just draw straws for who has to stay in a hotel & split the cost up between us.

The in's are.
Vinnie
Clint
J.D.
Rick
Nels & one friend
Kooter
Greg

The maybes are
My son Jason & one friend
Bill (from my work)

So if no one backs out we have 8 going and 3 maybes
