Couldn't have made it two, Rick? I seem to benefit from your "extras". Which reminds me.. write a check to Rick.

I thought you just bought one?

The one I got is a non-curent model so it was marked down to $150, plus I sprung for the rheostat style controller instead of just the on/off switch, so that was an extra $70. The newest ones have a smaller diameter wire for the heat elements called spider wire, but from what I have been able to figure out they don’t work any better and it hasn’t been on the market long enough to prove it “sailor proof” yet.

Funny you should say that Adam, because that’s what I said to the dealer when he was going over the bikes options when I picked it up.

I've been planning on buying one for a while, but I can't really justify it when it's 80 out.

I was riding on some real nice roads yesterday. My weekend got cut short when one of the other riders went off this decreasing radius curve and thru the catch cables and down and embankment. We were coming from the north.
Google Maps
He ended up with a fractured leg, rib and nose. And some lacerations. Bruised kidney and splean. I couldn't believe he was standing up when we got to him.
He is pretty tough for a 70 year old.
It would be a nice road for the sw wisconsin ride.

Okay - how the heck did you save this multi-point google map so it can be recalled with directions?

I have not been able to figure it out...and the "Save to My Maps" link does not appear when I do the "get directions" thing.

It only works for maps of MN & WI, sorry but you just live in the wrong state.

I'll have to check that one out when I'm down there for the Slimy Crud Run next week, I'll try real hard to not check out the ditch as closely as your friend did.

Why not? You have the bike for it now. Or will you bring the Hog?

I think Yaroslavs bike would be perfect for rides that only have left turns. Most of the leaning is done for you just by the seat position. Hummmm...... maybe I need to invent a swivel style seat to make leaning more comfy?? Cut frame, install wonder hinges to frame and walla! comfy lean!

We took 95 out of Fountain city to Arcadia and then 93 south. Then took T across to 108, T has a couple of turns that I left a little titanium on and I was pulling a trailer at the time.
95 has lots of high speed sweepers.

The 10th is out for me.

Why don't you just join us this Sunday on the Slimey Crud Run, it's going to be on most of the same roads???

I'm not sure I can (or want to) do both. I'd like to get in some family time before snow.

What is this "Slimey Crud Run" you're referring to? When, where, any details?
