I bought a trailer so I'll be taking it easy getting up there, probably coming up the night before. You guys should plan something that's convenient to the area up there and just let me know where to show up. I'll have the farthest to go for this but it will be easy, I'll do most of it in a minivan.

Looks fine for me.. a little close to Durand *shudder* but I'll survive. Close to my old stomping grounds. FYI I only have one love seat and one sofa and no vinnie i won't cuddle with you.

To be honest, T-burd, I included the segments that were furthest north and west. That's about as close as we'll get to my area. I didn't realize it would end up being so far for you.

My only issue is that I will have to work that night, Sun. into Mon. morning. It would be a VERY long day for me. Maybe we could shorten it up a bit???

BTW, crashing at Adam's crib sounds good to me.

No sweat Adam, I've lost interest anyway.

Adam's suggestion here.

Vinnie, I don't know what to suggest that's closer unless we go more Northwest. I think the roads get straighter and flatter, though.

I would prefer to leave St Cloud as early as possible. Maybe meet up in Ellsworth by 9:30ish???

I was not necessarily thinking closer but shorter. Don't want to fudge it up for anyone. I will just make sure I am plenty rested up for Sun. I am pretty much sleep deprived all week now anyway. Can't seem to get more than 4 hours a day but at least I am employed.

Go ahead and draw something up. I'm fine with shorter, but you haven't been very specific. Be specific!

Edit: How about this? Here's the simple version of the route for the rest of you. Just add your start and end points to calculate the day's ride.

FYI I rode part of that last W/E, and some of Byington road, and Big Hill road between N, and 35 is gravel, it's good gravel and easy to ride, but just to let you know what to expect, it's about a 6 mile stretch, and there are 4 sections of about a half mile each that are gravel, one section is a steep twisty downhill.

The blacktop parts between the gravel sections is fairly new, very twisty, and would be really fun, except it has quite a bit of sand on it, the sand is easy to spot, and can easly be riden around, but I remember some of you guys were not to happy with a similar road on the Dragon ride last year.

Once we get to that part it is the only good way to get to 35, so if anyone is not wanting to ride gravel they better speak up now.

Yeah you're right, need to be specific. I was going to work on something tonight after I got a tad more sleep.

That looks mighty fine. Just too bad that 2/3 of the ride will just be getting there. So do you think we can head out at 7:30, be in Ellsworth at 9:30???

I don't mind some gravel, but that's probably not ideal. Let's try to work around that.

Whenever you'd like to leave is fine, Vinnie. Sweet dreams.

My driveway is a half a mile of gravel. A little more won't bother me.
