I thought of that just after my last post.
Good idea.
If I can come or not is not my decision, tho.
All depends on work schedule.
I had the same idea Clint had.
Thought I'd reserve a spot and if I couldn't make it,
someone else could take my place. I'd know well in advance.
Will be calling to reserve soon.

The prices where you guys going are great. I've been looking around SE Wisconsin and found an intermediate course that's 6 hours in a parking lot for $120 that's basically the riding part of the BRC. The ERC is $160 and it too is in a parking lot. PLP is good and there are some worthwhile skills you can learn, but you can only go so far IMO.

Am I wrong.

Or is this just another case of how Wisconsin sucks.

I wouldn't necessarily say it sucks, there agenda is going to be a lot different for sure, more based towards the academics of riding, where the one we are doing is based more towards the physical act of riding itself.

The course we are doing is going to be a lot more fun, and for some people (like me) that will keep us more interested so we will be likely to learn more.

Mike, your S-50 is one of the few cruisers that would do great on this course, why don't you just join us?

I've got some links saved here someplace but can't find them now, that I found about motorcycling on the MN website. Not just the where to go, how to sign up, and how much to pay stuff, but actual good advice about riding. I was impressed and thought it was a good job. A plus 1 for MN in my opinion.

Getting back on topic, that course would be good experience for me. However since it's been less than a year since I hit the ditch last spring I'm not quite over the anxiety thing yet.

Saw that coming from a mile away. Ducked. It's coming around and about to smack you in the back of the head, Mr. Smartypants with your extraneous apostrophes and your thick, luxurious hair. Wait. Whose hair am I thinking of? WHY AM I THINKING OF ANOTHER MAN'S HAIR?

I need more cold medicine. My head hurts.

That makes this the perfect time for you to take this course, it will get you over that anxiety in one day, where as if you try and do it on your own it will still be bothering you at the end of this season, both Clint and I had the same issues after our crashes last year, and we both agreed that the course did more for our confidence than all the riding we had done in the intrem.

Yep. Hiding from the fear doesn't do anything but reinforce your panic reactions.

This'll be just a day after my week-long 25th year
class reunion. I hope a ain't all tuckered out.

Can't sign up for the course.
I'm 99.263% sure I can't make it.
Just began a new job and moved to Montana.
Better riding here.
Longer riding there.
Not even sure if I'll make it to Minnesota at all this
summer now; but still going the Beartooth, tho.
I hope some of you can join us there.

Well I procrastinated long enough now that the class has filled up. Geesh, I thought I'd have to make a decision there, but saved by the bell.

This is a very popular course and anyone that has taken it in the past seems to have a strong interest in taking it again, so after they announce the dates, you have to move quick to get a spot.

They must have had some cancelations, a friend from work just told me that he called this week and they took his money & assigned him a spot, you might want to check with them to see whats up.

Adam, I got an e-mail from them confirming my spot, did you hear from them yet?
