Yeah - I tried explaining it using simple words but I don't think it took...

Ok, ok...I didn't read every post before I said anything.
My GPS says 429.9 miles and 6 hours 28 minutes 14 seconds @ 66.185mph.

So it should take me about 4 1/2 hours. Who's buying breakfast?

LOL! If you ride that before breakfast, I'll buy. You should understand, though, that the track event is a real workout and will make you too tired to ride that far afterward. I'd offer a couch, but I'm way "up north".

You may be too tired to do a full day of riding if you go that distance beforehand, too.

If you can, look for a cheap(ish) motel/hotel near the track or at least not 4-6 hrs away and go in the night before/stay the night of. Trust us, you won't regret it and, if you don't, you might regret it.

Me, too. Seeing as it will be my third "first timer" event, I may set up as a photographer and shoot some of your laps. Maybe I can sell some shots to other riders, too.

I haven't decided yet if I want to sign up as a first timer again, or skip the classroom stuff and just rest between sessions.

You'd do great in the intermediate, Rick, but it's full. You might request the waiting list. I'd have loved to shoot you.

With a camera.

I just checked, and your right the intermediate is full, I guess I waited too long, oh well a guy can never learn to much about motorcycling, guess I'll try and get a 7/12 first timer again.

OK, they took my payment so it looks like I'm in too.

My son, and his friend Chris want to do it again too, so I'll pass the date along to them.

If someone comes along and wants to get in after it's full, I'd give up my seat. I'd be happy to ride down and just shoot photos.

Ok, who are you and what have you done with the real Clint.

That's a nice offer, but as I recall they checked didn't they check ID's to make sure we were the person that signed up?
