I just went to the Chicago show last weekend. Someone said it was about the same size as the one last year and I'd guess that's about right. Based on what I saw it's certainly a worthwhile way to spend a few hours. I watched about a half hour of Lee Parks. Interesting. Have fun, take pictures. Clint or Adam on the Honda Fury would be a kick. |

| How about if I meet you at your place? We can split the parking tab and I will buy you a beer. If so pm me your address. Yes, I still have your cell. You have mine? It would be nice to meet Dr. Nutz as well.

Did everyone have fun a the Mpls Motorcycle Show? My fiance and I are very happy about our new leather jackets. I was a little disappointed at the Suzuki booth, there wasn't any apparel or accessories. I also couldn't find much in the way of Scorpion helmets. Lota cool bikes though! Overall, had a really good time!

It was a good show, Vinnie & I sat on a bunch of different bikes, had a couple of beers & bought some Shamwow's, I was a little disappointed that some vendors weren't there, I was interested in seeing the new BMW's, and they weren't there at all, oh well I guess that's just a sign of the times.

| Hehee, I wasn't going to admit it but I bought some Samwow's at the Chicago show. ![]() I did see a BMWs though, just a glance as I walked by. What caught my eye was how unattractive the one I saw was. I know they have some really cool bikes, I wish I would have checked them out. Last edited by Thundurburd; 02-16-2009 at 10:07 AM. |

wouldn't go that far; there seemed to be about the same amount of vendors as usual; but then again Chicago does cover a population area of approx 20 million. When you draw a radius of 100+ plus mile from said show. There isn't another one like it for quite some distance.

I talked to one of the vendors at the Chicago show and he said they were told this year was about the same as last year, and I'd guess that's the way it seemed to me. This year I was actually shopping for specific items so when I didn't find them I started to think the show was smaller, but I don't think that was the case.

Missing this year: Aprilla, BMW, Ural, Boss Hoss, Big Bear Choppers, other custom builders. Much smaller areas: Hyosung, Buell, KTM. No Deals Gap booth but the alum polish guy was there.
