I can't go on Sat, I already told my boss I would work, besides it looks like it's going to be quite wet.

Looks like my morning is going to be screwed now. I'm trying to get the afternoon freed up.

Took my bike in for storage today. Just as I left it started to snow, the icy little stuff that stung like hell on the jeans. The guys laughed at me when I showed up covered with snow/ice.

So tomorrow I'll be on hospital quality pain killers, please ignore anything I might happen to post. I hope I don't get banned.

BTW I tore my shoulder up last spring when I dumped my bike and slid into the ditch and missed the last time you guys got together. Good timing on my part, again.

Have fun and ride safe.

Too late this year to organize stuff....

What do you guys think about setting up a ride for next year, say a meeting around Debuque?

So where is a likely meeting point, time, etc... I am not too familiar with the good riding spots so maybe you guys decide. Try not to make it too far as I may be frozen by the time I arrive.

That makes for a 2-1/2 hour ride home. I'm not sure I'm up to that much in 45-degree weather. Don't let me stop you guys, though, if that's what you want to do.

How far away is that for you, Adam?

just a thought.. not trying to make it all about me here.

about 180 miles total for me round trip. don't worry about distance for me if you have something on the northside of the cities that would be a good drive..
