| this is a good event and all within reach are more then welcome to join us. here is a letter i got this morning from motorcycle anni along with the flier. i hope to meet some of you folks from the area. ================================================== ======== Hello to All: The Freedom Fighter's, a group of motorcycle enthusiasts and some good hearted people trying to help make a difference, spend each year organizing and hosting several events throughout the year Again this year, we are raising money to send kids to Camp Floyd Rogers. The Floyd Rogers Foundation administers a special summer camp for children ages eight to eighteen living with diabetes. The camp hosts 100 diabetic kids each summer. Camp Floyd Rogers helps the children learn to cope with the challenges of living with juvenile diabetes and to live life to its fullest potential. It is the policy of the camp never to turn a child away for lack of the additional $500.00 per camper requested of each family. Actual costs of running camp for each child is over $2500.00. Camp Floyd Rogers Foundation is not concerned with a family’s financial status, but that of the child living with diabetes. The money we raise goes directly to camp to help offset the cost of those parents who are not able to pay the suggested fee. Camp will be held at the 4-H Center near Gretna, NE next to Schram Park and is in session June 21– June 28, 2009. We need your help to get the word out and we certainly appreciate any help you can give, whether it is monetary, merchandise, service or just part of an afternoon you have free to give a hand. With your help, to date, we have donated over $78,500.00 to Camp Floyd Rogers! For more information on Camp Floyd Rogers please visit Camp Floyd Rogers Sincerely, Anni Besch & Committee Members
