Default Deal's Gap 2008 ride reports and photos

We had a great time, and while our riding with some of the group was limited to a run through the Dragon in the dark, we got to talk and hang out for a few hours. These are some good folk.

Help me out if I don't get the names right:

Kelley, Everett, Sean, Rick, Clint, Vinnie, Chris, Greg, Adam, Shon.

Thanks for all the photos Clint. I was thinking today after I left your place that we did not take any pics of you riding. Sorry pal!! Next time we will have to get you going by.

Thanks for sharing all this with us. Nice pics, looks like you guys had a lot of fun.

Quick question, I saw a mention of the mini dragon. Isn't that NC28? I rode it in a cage about 9 years ago on my honeymoon, last week of December. It was absolutely beautiful seeing all the snow and ice on the mountains. As my motorcycle skills improve this is a ride I'm definitely going to make.

Vinnie+MiniDragon=Bike Surgery

I cannot remember a bad road in that entire area, one beautiful scene after another.

Mini Dragon is TN32??? Top right border of the Smokey Mountain National Park. Will have to give credit where it is due. Rainman came out with that little gem of a road for last years route. Definitely a good road to run.

NC28 is also known as Hellbender 28 (named after the famous 3 ft long salamanders in that area).

We ran Hellbender and tons of other roads. I am pretty sure there are a lot more that we missed.

What day/days did you guys run the dragon? Other than the Pitch Black run.
