Yes, that is the Crossroads of Time motel from my understanding. I haven't stayed there either, but I understand that motel to be the same old place thats been there forever. The restuarant and gift shop seem recently remodelled, but thats about it. Caddy-corner behind the camera is the Tree of Shame. From the historical shots on the wall inside, its the same original tree, in the same parking lot, with the same motel... They still have the old analog gas pumps that serve only 2 ppl at a time.

Thanks for the info, Shon. Cool. I was a few miles from there maybe two months ago when my wife and I did one of those cheesy 2 night stays in Pigeon Forge and listen to their 2 hour spiel while there. I wanted to go check it out but we were tired and hungry so she, I mean we, passed on it. The wife's getting a bike soon so we'll be up there before long.

If you are ever wanting to go up there let me know. I might try to meet you along the way if I don't have anything going on.

I can tell you that after leading that group in the pitch black and not being able to see the road where it curves outside of the light from the headlight I have the tightest buttocks in the East.

Watch out Susan Sommers.

You guys are planning rides in two different threads, now. Start your own stinking thread! This one's for reporting on the last trip.

YouTube - Bit by the dragon

Hey Clint, check out this video, except for the red Jeep Liberty it should look real familiar to you, going by what you said, I think it's the same place you left the turn signal off your Bandit.

Looks like he started to overshoot the turn and then, while leaned, tried to shift his weight to start to straighten up and prepare for the right turn. At first I thought maybe his front tire slipped on the yellow line but closer review shows his front tire doesn't quite make it to the yellow line. It also doesn't look he accelerated and broke the rear tire grip. To me it looks like what would happen if, while leaned like that, pressed on the left handlebar too hard.
