Default Deal's Gap 2008 equipment ledger

Let's those of us who are taking this trip list the "sharable" equipment and supplies we'll be carrying so we limit unnecessary overlap and make sure we have everything to make this as fun as possible.

I'll start. In my 3 Givi hard cases and soft tank bag I'll have:
  • Stop&Go tire plug kit (mushroom type) with 4 16g CO2 cartridges. I plan on buying 8 more, so I'll have the capacity to fill two large tires.
  • Garmin Quest 2 gps with a roadmap of the entire country and our planned routes, as well as lodging, fuel, and attractions guide
  • (2) AA Maglites and an LED cap visor light
  • Super glue, duct tape, electrical tape
  • Extra 1157 and H9 bulbs
  • I'll pack a new, large can of Hondalube in the blue can. Anyone is welcome to use it. We don't all need to carry one.
  • ...more as I think of it

I will have extra capacity if anybody needs to store anything.

One additional item I will bring is an electrical tester and I think I may buy CO2 cartridges as well.

as of right now i'll have stuff from AAA like paper maps and the attraction guide for the area and an electric tire gauge. My GPS is broke and thinks i'm 30 miles south of where i really am. More to post once i really get my act together. I as well will have a little bit of exta room but won't really mean much since i'm meeting up with all of you. Tank bag, saddle bags and a backpack.

Never leave the house without your rubbers! You never can tell when it's gonna rain!

Wet feet can lead to a whole host of nastiness! Fungi, Pnuemonia, Common Cold, Trenchfoot, etc., etc., and so on.
