I don't mind hanging back and keeping an eye on things till we get things sorted out and see how everyone is doing, but if I didn't want to play some of the time, I would have rode the Harley.

You should take the lead because you know the area best, but I'd rather not sit in the back all day, I know you know what I mean.

I have a GPS which is a good thing for the tail-gunner to have, but I remember from last year that my cell phone had crappy coverage out there, so if we did get separated, or if someone went down, I would have to depend on someone else's phone.

It absolutley raises the octane to aprox 140. I add another to the list, Adam, you are in the count! I can make two different types, normal & super. And I am undecided about which bike to take, my work runner the ninja250, or the S50. The S50 would be more suitable for the lower back, then again the ninja would zip on the curves. I guess I'll decide when I load the bike on. Let me know what suits you best, spicy or more spicey.

The cottage is equiped for fixing meals, I doubt you will need to bring a microwave or paper plates.
I can eat habanera peppers for breakfast. When some of my friends have eaten my cajun/cantonese cooking they guzzle water to stop the pepper rush. WRONG, let it linger, it is like fine whiskey, you will aquire a taste for it. I grew up on shrimp, crawfish, blue claws smothered in zataran's seasoning, onions, garlic, corn, & taters.

Ok,, update on Saturday. I just got word that a really good friend and like a Grandfather to my brother and I passed away this morning. The funeral is on Saturday morning the 31st at 11:00 am.

My brother and I will be there for that. I also received word that a co-worker of mine had passed away last night as well. Not sure on the details of that funeral yet.

As of right now my brother and I will still be going but we won't be able to leave until after lunchtime now. I will know more as it gets closer to next Friday. Chris I will call you this weekend to let you know our plans.

Well I finally got the Strom back together, I finished up this morning and took her out for a short ride to test things out, all seems well so far, except I may need to bleed the hydraulic clutch.

Hopefully I'll be able to get a few hundred miles on her before we leave on Friday, it would be nice to have the new tire, chain, and brake pads broke in before we head out.

I really like how the forks feel with fresh oil & new springs, the stock springs were either some real junk, or they were mismatched to begin with, different lengths, and the stiffness is noticeably different between the two, there was also different amounts of oil in each leg.

I finally got the trailer and it needs lighting repair. Trailer condition is great. Getting ready to tow it home & pick up a pair of lamps to replace them. Then I need to put some miles on that new seat today, to finish breaking in the seat.
