I prefer Greyhound buses. Since the co-workers are constantly trying to throw me under a bus I started choosing my preferred trampler.

Here is the scoop on the cottage. It is three bedroom and has four beds and one queen sofa bed, two bathrooms. It also has a fridge, stove and all the dishes we need. So, unless my count is off we can fit 5. Is there anyone else that can occupy this 5th spot and bring all of our cost down????? Should save us $10 a night with guy #5.

Potentially we could house 6 if a couple of guys want to share the queen sofa bed. We could swap out every night in case it is lumpy like most I have slept on. I volunteer myself one night.

I really doubt it would be necessary for any of us to share a bed, even if we have more than 5 people, I'm sure the motel has roll-aways they could bring in for us.

I'm far less homophobic than many, but I'm still not terribly comfortable sharing a bed with anyone other than Jolene. Just the way I was raised, I guess. Now, my neighbors six kids probably couldn't care less.

Na, at least I don't think so, but I sure as heck don't want to find out.

Even with different girl friends I've had over the years I had trouble sleeping with them (as in SLEEP ) till we had been together for a while. I'd wind up just tossing & turning all night.

I spent the weekend with my family, which is about as good a tradeoff as there is. We did a few geocaches today - the kids' first.

Yep, I got three short rides in today, one on the Road King, one on the Dr650, and the longest one on the Heckler Mt bike.

Well I had to work till 3 in the morning Friday night. Then run errands and plop down $235 for new brakes on the '08 Scion for "J". Then next thing you know it was time to go work again last night.

Today involved grass cutting, helping "P" de-badge his Spiderman bicycle, hanging a new ceiling fan, fixing gutters, and now I get to go to bed.

Less than two weeks!!!! I am so ready for this. My brother is chomping at the bits to go up there. But it was nice today,, sure wish I was riding,, but oh well.

Anything good? Or just Happy Meal junk?

My kids got tired of it, because they saw the decent stuff we put in, and they got squadootch in return.

I know, I know......they shouldn't expect anything, but it was kinda a hard sell for a couple of young boys who'd rather play Nintendo on a Saturday morning, than get up early and tramp around some nasty woods with dad. And then when we left decent stuff, and they got zipparini......well...I'm sure you can guess the results.

Evan's young enough yet that he doesn't care what he gets. It's just fun.

I'm going to set this thread free and start a new one for final planning. Let's keep it on topic.

Try 32,000 miles in a year. Mostly commuting to and from Atlanta in rush hour traffic. So there ya go, new brakes.

I hope Greg has more fun than he did last time in the mountains,, hopefully we won't call him Tom Slick again!!!

Damn...that's a lot of miles.

Man...you guys kill me. You got the Mini-Dragon (and related type places) right outside the back door, yet you still act like kids at Christmas when you get ready to head to the Dragon.
