Cool Favorite Roads near DFW, TX???

I live in the DFW area and am always looking for fun new roads to ride. If you live in the area, share your fav(s).....

The best road I know is:
FM 157 south from Mansfield to Venus. Its a really twisty road thats pretty smooth. Kind of short though - only 10 miles

There are supposed to be some great roads between Muenster and Nocona.Road from Frisco to Muenster last year and was about to enbarq onmy Journey when I received an emergency call from my wife. May go that way soon. There is another small town in the mix I can't think of the name There is also a Magazine called Ride Texas.

Don't forget Hwy. 4 from Jacksboro to I-20. The part south of Palo Pinto is exactly like the hill country. Those roads near Muenster are great, very smooth, no traffic.

All of you need to trek up 75 to Sherman this weekend and take in some racing.

All right! Thanks for all the links/roads! Living in Arlington sucks! I'm equally far away from all the fun roads

At least here in Frisco I am closer to some of the FM roads up North. Hopefully this weekend will be nice. I have a 3 day weekend with nobody but myself.

All the way to the entrance, then it is gravel. I have ridden my bike there several times and so do many others.

Scheduling a ride sound like a good idea. You said it so you get to organize it.

I'm back from Colombia, just been really busy returning to work. Anyway, as some of you on this thread have already seen, on Saturday Nate will be doing either a 10 or 12 o'clock wheelie on the M & it will all be caught on tape.

Come one, come all...we'll grab a bite & a beer afterwards.

http://www.motorcycle-journal.com/fo...lying-m50.html

We could also do a morning ride that leads up to that if anyone wants to do that. Let me know & we can start mapping the route.
