Damn, I don't know if I would have tried that crossing. I have been thru several water crossings in Glen Rose area, but they were all just trickles, however the green slimey moss over smooth concrete is pretty treacherous too.

It took 3 people to pick it up and push it to dry road b/c the current was trying to push the bike into the Paluxy!
Let me guess it was near Dinosaur Valley.

We started to cross one awhile back and the first person to try it went down fast and hard, it was so slick that three of us had dificulty lifting his KLR up then keeping it up without being swept off the crossing, the water was only 4" deep and not much current, but it was slicker then wet ice.

Here is a pic just before he went down. We could have made it if we had gone just down stream of the road where the ground was rough.

Thats exactly where I was! The funny thing was there were 2 crossings and we crossed both on the way to Dino Valley and one on the return trip jus fine. It was the 2nd crossing on the way back that got us. There was probably 2" of water but the green moss was slicker than snot!!

It's not 51. No low water crossings on 51. I think that might be CR 1001.
