Default 2005 Ninja ZX6R headlights

Just bought it, was wondering, are both headlights supposed to be on during the daytime???

both light up when I turn the highbeam, but the right light is off with the lowbeam on...I've seen this on magazines, but don't know if it's supposed to be that way??

One is low, one is high. The low is on at all times.

I owned a 2005 zx10 and thought the same thing but some einstein in the dept.of trans. thought this idea with the one headlight off would give the car drivers on the road a better visual.Didn t work though and everybody keeps telling you that you have one headlight out.I own a 2005 zx12 and both headlights are on.Feels a lot better.Have fun...Buzz
