Thanks for such a warm welcome again everyone. I just bought a T-bag and a magnetic tank bag for her. I will use them the 26th of June for a trip out to Bosie ID (about a 4 hour ride) to visit my riding buddy for the weekend. I think I get the T-bag this Friday and my tank bag today (it is out for delivery right now LOL). I will post pics of her all suited up.

Default Update

Well, my new found online motorcycle friends, I have named my bike: Valentine. Also, the ride to Boise was great. Loved it, and she ran great. I did have to rewire my tach; the previous owner used a sensor instead of wiring it directly to the coil. Granted I am still reading 1/2 the RPMs still, but it isn't hard to so the math...

Also, I have a trip planned (starting this Saturday) to ride the 101 from Seattle down to the Avenue of the Giants in Northern Cali. However, my buddy was adjusting his valves and stripped out a bolt last week. The dealer has it (again) after the first fix (helicoil) failed. When he picked it up yesterday, it was smoking and leaking oil all over. Probably the helicoil was cross threaded (duh) and didn’t seal right…or something. It is back at the dealer and they told him it would be fixed and ready today. Here's to hoping...right?!

I plan to get a hold of some C50 handlebars for a more comfortable ride.

with the occasional laundromat and some clothes pins, you could go a couple of weeks, easy.
