Greetings from the Cowboy State! I'm still a relatively novice rider; I started out riding about 2 years ago on a 1981 KZ550. Took the MSF new rider course shortly thereafter and soon felt confident enough that I was ready to upgrade. I bought a 2007 Galaxy Blue V Star 1300 last February and have enjoyed doing a few mods (drilled out the stock exhaust and installed a Thunder Manufacturing Air Kit) as well as riding in some of the most beautiful country in the world. I've succumbed to the biking lust, even saddling up when it's in the 20s (as long as there's no snow or ice on the road). I enjoy browsing the forums for opinions on different gear and suggestions for road trips. If anyone wants some recommendations for some great sites to see in this area (Sheridan, Wyoming), feel free to drop me an e-mail. This part of the country is rich in historical and geological points of interest. Oh, and ladies, I look just like Sam Elliot, except I'm shorter, fatter, balder, and have totally different facial features.  See y'all on the board!  |
