Wink The Bike Bug Bit Me!

Whats going on everybody? Hope all is well for all in todays economy. So heres my story.. pretty much, I had learned how to ride before in my life, and though it was fun, it never really thrilled me to have a bike though. I started dating a beautiful girl this year who happens to have a ninja. I started riding it a couple moths ago and since Ive hopped on I cant seem to get off. Im really enjoying it, I guess I got tired of driving all the time. Well, due to certain difficulties Ive had this year, I am thinking of giving up my current car. Problem with that, is I need realiable transportation and it wont be a while until I save for another vehicle if I let it go. I certainly wont get approved for anything at a dealership nor would I want to. So...I was thinking of getting myself into a decent bike to start riding around for a couple months, or possibly even riding my girls to start(if she lets me ride it full time). The thing is I do not a motorcycle license and I live in Florida. Ive had people tell me different things, but I need the truth. Is it legal to ride without a motorcyle license in Florida? and without insurance?(as long as you wear a helmet). I would appreciate any advice. If I must certainly by law have a motorcycle license to ride, what is the quickest way to get throught it all? I understand its a process because of required schooling. Thanks alot guys, and its pleasure to be part of the forum!
