Hi all, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Scott or "Cactusjack", and I live in the Phoenix AZ area. I currently ride a 2007 Kawasaki 1600 Nomad I bought in September of last year. Prior to the Nomad, I had a 2005 Suzuki C50T. I bought the C50T as my re-entry to riding after being away from it for 25 years. Six months with the C50T to get the feel of the road back and I traded it in on the Nomad. I'm just a hundred or so miles shy of 15,000 on the Nomad now and I am very happy with the bike. I am in the process of building a custom trailer to tow with the Nomad for those "longer" rides. This time of year, it's miserably hot here, so I do most of my riding from September-May, and ease of a bit in the summer. While most of the country is shoveling snow, I'm out riding. Sorry, didn't mean to rub it in.  I'm looking forward to reading about what's going on here and hopefully, I can contribute some useful information as well. Scott "Cactusjack" |
