Default Soon be a new rider

Taking the BRC course this weekend.

I've been on here for a week now, just reading and absorbing all of the reviews on tips posted here.

I have my helmet, my jacket and I've been approved for financing from my local bike shop. Now I just need to pass the course. I'm nervous, not sure why, I'm always a fast learner and I'd consider myself very coordinated. I guess it's just something I've been waiting a long time for so I don't want to mess anything up.

Looking forward to becoming an official rider.

I've been running through my options of bikes and I think I have it down to a few. I think my top pick is the Suzuki M50. I like the S50, but the styling of the M50 is hard to beat. I also really like the Triumph Black Bonneville, mostly for the styling, but from what I have read, I will be paying a lot more for less bike.

to the forum. You sound like you have a good head on your shoulders. I enjoyed the M50 as my first bike. It has great styling, handled like a dream, and had enough power to satisfy yet not too much to get me into trouble. Keep up on the path your heading and you'll do fine.

Good luck with the course. If it's anything like the MSF class we have here in CA, it's quite an easy course but at the same time it's extremely fun and informational. I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it, but not as much as you'll enjoy riding I'd say that if you're looking into a cruiser, the M50 is the way to go, but I'm biased towards Suzukis

We missed it. When? Just now. When will then be now? Soon.
