FNG from Iowa,
Hello all. I have been riding for a long time. I am a computer consultant (self employed) on a normal basis. Currently I am on active duty orders with the National Guard filling in for some people who have been mobilized. I love to ride and get in a 1.5 hour ride every day that it's possible to ride. We had a long winter so it has been really tough on me. Looking forward to going on a week ride with some of my military brothers in May. See you all around in the forums.

Smile another new one

Hello from Florida. I'm looking to get rid of my gsx-r 600 and get a c50 or m50. Tossing it up in the air for now. I've had the s40 and s50, but not enough for me. I was reading this post a minute ago and this guy was telling the husband to get his wife a smaller bike than the c50 because she's gonna drop it anyway. Come on! One time I dropped my bike when I started cause I left it in second gear. Picked the bike up, kept scooting and that never happened again in 8 years. Now my husband dropped his night rod twice! It's not a woman thing. Dropping a bike is a riding thing! I wonder if he could keep up with my 140 on the gsx-r? HEEE.

Hi there dwiebe!

What do you think of the Hyosung. I had a chance to buy a used one realy cheap. I almost bought it for the wife to learn on. It looked new. I just didn't know enough about it.

Default Hello ffrom a newbie

My name is Allan, I live in Delray Beach, Florida and I just bought a 2002 1400 Intruder from Powersports here in town. I'm retired and I do volunteer work as a pre-trial Mediator for the Florida Supreme Court. I bought a Used Kaw Concourse three weeks ago but at 5'4 it was too tall for me so I traded it in last Thursday for the Intruder. My last bike was an 800 Intruder which was great but I wanted something bigger. I hope to establish a nice group of friends here and If I can ever be of assistance here please don't hesitate to let me know.

Welcome DradW.

You live in the state with no curves. I think Highlands NC is a the place that Floridians go to to see curves.

Default New to riding

Hi folks my name is Hoyt and I just purchased a bike for daily commute and joy rides. I rode a lot of dirt bikes when I was young but I realize this is a whole different game. I will be taking the MLF course in two weeks but until then I have been cruising around my neighborhood at 25 mph getting a feel for the bike. I have spent hours upon hours reading the journal and will probably be posting many questions. Thanks in advance and everyone be safe.
