Hey....Hello...

Been a faithful reader for quite some time now(ummmm a year and some change) and finally took the plunge!!!!!

This forum has got to be the internet motorcycle knowledge central hub....so much learned here...saved me a lot of trial by error learning...

Took up riding about 2 years ago after taking the safety course...actually my wife and son took it with me....I think its a passion now...40 years of never giving riding a second thought....wow, all that time missed...

Wife has an 86 intruder VS700 and I have a 97 Marauder...and we ride at every chance.....

Last long ride was to the Dragon in Oct of 07...Awesome

Got probably 20000 miles so far under two wheels....Praying....Many more to come...

Well, that's me story, for now........

Eric!

I know what you mean about never giving riding a thought, I wish I did it sooner. Going into my 3rd season. Looks like you've done plenty of riding, good on ya.

Ride safe and post often.

Hello!

I am a first time poster on this board and new(ish) to sport bikes but not to riding. I have been doing dirt on both mountain bikes and dirt bikes for many years and have attended a number of track days in my modded Saab Classic 900 turbo.

I have a 2 week old '07 GSX-R600 and yes, I know, it is more than I can really handle... but I fell in love with the Blue/White color scheme with color matched Blue rims and I just couldnt resist.

Hi all! I have been a member of the Hayabusa Owners page since 2002. I own a 2000 Red and Silver Busa and my wife rides a red 2000 Bandit 1200S. I was pointed to this sight by B-Rex. I thought I would join up here after looking around for information on my new ride, a 2008 black on black B-King. I did keep my Busa by the way. This looks like a great place and I hope to be able to learn and to share new information on the bikes we love.

Smile Hello

Hi as you see I'm new to this site. I hope to learn more about bikes. I've been riding for 11 years but always thought I am a rider not a mechanic. Now I think I would be better off learning as much as I can.
Anna

Well SNAFU has already welcomed me on my first posted thread, but you can again if you want.
By my ID you can see that I am a new rider...or planning to be one. I haven't been on a bike since High School and college. Mostly it was the normal stuff..marriage, kids, mortgage, school and then college tuition. But all that is done now..well the college tuition is anyway. My son has graduated and has a real paying job, so we are empty nesters. His roommates just bought two scooters and I got the bug. So I am beginning my search. I started at 150cc and am now at 250... probably will hold there because this is my first bike. I want to complete the safety course first then let my skills make the determination. From my other thread it sounds like a 250cc is probably a good start so that's where I will be.
