Its 106 miles to Chicago. We have a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, its dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Hey, psycho, we're not getting back together. Now get out of my Van Halen t-shirt before you jinx the band and they break up.

Cool

New to the forum. Been riding for about a year and just bought an M50 yesterday. I love it but am having issues with the handlebars. They are a bit far away but the dealer said I could adjust them about an inch. So tomorrow I will try that and hope it works... Other than that it's a great bike and I love it!!

Hi, All,
I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Rick, I live in southern California, and part of the California dream is to own a motorcycle and cruise the coast. So in June of ’05, I bought a new C90T, and to date, with my trusty girl friend on the back, have put 9,780 fun-filled miles on it! I am 51 and have not done any riding since I was a teenager. However, my brother-n-law & next door neighbor who both own HD’s talked me into it. Turns out to be one of the best things I have done in a long time. Our C90T Boulevard, nick-named Max (for maximum fun) by my GF, seems to have been a great choice. It gets lots of looks and compliments. So far I’ve added a few chrome doodads, passenger floor boards, engine guards, & my GF has added a touch of fringe.
Safe riding, everyone……

Hello,

I too consider myself to be a new rider. I last rode a bike about 33 years ago. I recently took the MSF course (last one of the season) with my wife and than purchased her a 2003 Yamaha Virago.

We live in the Columbus, Ohio area and I plan to purchase a new Suzuki this winter (there will be much more later).

What part of Columbus? Lancer and I live on the far East side. Did you take the MSF, or the Harley Davidson course?

Nice to see someone else from the Heart of it All!

I'm in Lewis Center which is far North Side. We took the MSF course (last class of the season) after looking very closely at the Harley-Davidson course. I'm not just cheap, however, $50 vs. $600 for the same class was a factor along with not wanting to have a Harley (or any brand) pushed at us during and after the class.

What dealer do you shop - I spend most of my time at Hines on Rt. 23 and Northwest Honda in Dublin.

Khenders,

We shop mostly at ASK on the East side. Since we live on the East side, they are convenient. They are also really nice--we were in the showroom several times before we actually purchased, and they answered all of our questions. The manager also taught us a bit about riding, so we were not completely stupified during the Harley Davidson classes.

Hopefully, we will see you around, riding!

Susan

Wow! What a great website!!!! Lots of info and friendly people. I'm very happy I stumbled on to this site this evening.
For my first bike I purchased a Suzuki C50 in June of this year and love it!! I spent a great deal of time with some very experienced riders who really put me through my learning paces. They started me with cones in a parking lot and it went on from there. Now I have my M class license and about 3000 miles under my belt but I still consider myself a real newbie. I have a lot to learn yet.

Unfortunately the weather is now cold here in Elgin Illinois so my bike is hibernating in my garage.

Looking forward to spending a lot of time here.

Well it is time for me to dive in. I've been in the background reading post and getting info since september. A lot of experience here and good information here to be had. This site helped me decide on my 05 C50. Got the bike first week of October . I'm in my late 40's and I tell everyone that I am living out my Mid-life crisis with the new bike. I have lived in Az all my life and think I was destined to live here so the bike can be ridden all year long. charlie

Whats the deal, Godfather is in the house. I haven't purchased my bike yet but I've found a new interest in them and I am expecting to be on one soon.

Yes I know it’s been a long time but at age 48 if I want to recapture the thrill I have to get started again. Of course I have been street riding since then on my B12 but until now never stayed put long enough in my 30 years in the Navy/Coast Guard to get back in the desert (what a place). I recently purchased a used RM100 for my daughter to use when she visits, as she wants to learn. I have the 12 once flywheel weights and the Fatty Gold pipe on order to broaden and smooth out the power band. It’s amazing even to me at 220 Lbs how much power that little sucker has and am glad I didn’t buy a 125 4-strok play bike, what a waste of good money. The only thing that is a little bothersome is the exhaust drool. Somebody needs to invent a silencer with a drip tube. Anyway I own all Suzuki's B12, DRZ400, DR100, and Ozark so this sight should be of great help and enjoyment.
