The .38 I carry is hammerless, so you have to really pull the trigger to fire.

Yes, yes and he is faster. He's been riding 32 years (makes my 17 look like child's play). He's not just faster, but an incredible rider.

My apologies, SQ. You can take as a compliment the fact that you look too young in your photos to have the experience you've claimed. I made assumptions based on that and recent member hoaxes. My mistake. Welcome.

Apology accepted, RR. I can certainly understand your hesitation. I am moderator/admin on some other boards and have the occasional "poser" show up. I am in my 30's (though I don't often admit it) and got my first bike at 13 (YZ125... couldn't touch the ground). Anyway, thanks for the welcome

Do you race on the track any? Rossi started riding at 4 so I'd imagine 17 yrs of experience my have struck an interest in track racing.

SQ, What model devil pipes did you get? And where did you get them from? I've been wanting pipes like those for a while but I just got my other bike on Friday.

Thank you, P-Low. It is the Shotgun High-mount system. WHen you go to the website, go to "gallery" then "customer pics"... you'll find me under "Suzuki". I absolutely love this system. Sounds awesome and performs just as well as it sounds.

As for the track, no real interest in riding the track. Not sure why. My other half is the track junkie (dirt and road).

Anything is possible these days, Grump. I've seen them before, but don't remember what company it was that made them.

SQ, what made you go from an R1 to a GSXR 6?

The R1 was old (although I loved her very much), heavy and powerful. I'm very small... barely 5'2" and about 105lbs... lotsa bike for a tiny woman. I rode her for about 8 months and would be so tired after a long ride that it started to become a job instead of fun. It was the 1st litre bike I ever owned and can safely say I will probably never own another. I don't need a bike like that. I am so happy with the 600 and the way it performs. Weight to power ratio is outstanding and enough to make me happy
