Hey, Goldfish. Where in MN?

And about UB's post - if you act like a responsible rider here and take those more knowlegable seriously, you'll be welcomed. If you're a stunter or a safety naysayer, you won't. Good luck.

hello all. been visiting this and many other forums for a while now and decided to register to this site because i liked the mentallity of the people here. hope you dont mind if i call this home.

im 21 yrs old and just got into bikes. ive taken the MSF course and plan on going back and taking the Advanced Course sometime in the near future. went out about a month ago and purchased a 2005 SV650s. chose it instead of a generic 600 that all my friends ride cause i wanted a good learner bike that will keep me very satisfied. it was a great decision, i love this bike. its simply an amazing machine with more potential than i could ask for. already have 1300 miles on it and growing, i use it as my daily driver (quite fun). oh, im in the military and i have all the proper gear and use it all the time no matter what the temperature is and it gets unbelievably hot in Las Vegas. Been riding in the +100 degree temps with all my gear on! lol its definately worth it!

well i guess thats it in a nutshell. hopefully ill get a lot of advice from the many interesting and knowledgable folks here.

later,
Justin

Hi Denise, my name is Scott and i'm married and live about 2 hours from you near Wichita Falls, i've been into bikes for a few years, but just purchased my first new one last week. I'm also new to this site and thought it was nice to see someone that lived semi close. Hope you enjoy riding as much as i do and feel free to email me anytime.

Welcome. You got seven posts in before I even noticed you. Good work!

Why don't you tell us about yourself? Be careful, though. The leg-humpers around here are worse than the current crop of Minnesota mosquitoes.
