| Hey everyone. Decided to hop on some forums to learn a few things. I've never ridden a bike, but want to. I browsed a few beginner threads and saw it was smart to take the MSF course. Mine starts in May.. can't wait to learn how to ride. Hopefully I'll have a bike by then! Edit: I'm from central Minnesota!

| Ah, I see some people from MN. Maybe I'll get a chance to meet some of you =o Does anyone know if taking the MSF course lowers your insurance rates? I'm not even sure how high they will be (I'm 22).

| Forensic Bug Splatter Analyst. ![]() | Scatterbrain! Call around and get some quotes. Especially if you have or are getting a sportbike! Insurance could be more than the bike payment at 22!

| I would just like to say hi to everyone and to introduce myself. My name is John and I am in the process of buying a new Boulevard c50t. I am hoping that I can get some good feedback on my new ride from this site. I have been looking at a lot of posting's on this site and feel there is a lot of good information on this site. Like I said earlier I am new to the cruiser bike and a bit nervous about the new experience. My past bike was a Susuki Katana and I am hoping for a new riding experience on this bike. So if you have any information on the Boulevard c50t feel free to let me know about it.....Thanks and hi to everyone again

| Appologies to admin, but that's all the french I know, cept for Il Le Nes La Divine Enfant, which I had to sing in 7th grade. Found this site while tooling around looking at bikes and after spending a couple of weeks reading the posts, decided that this is a pretty cool place to talk about scooters and such. Facts about me: 33 yr old critical care nurse living in NC. Took the MSF course when I was 19 and bought a Seca 2 which was subsiquently sold when I decided to go back to college 2yrs later. I have not ridden since and invariably every time I started to consider gettin a bike a pt. would roll in from a bad fall off his HD or CBR and I'd think WTF. After resolving in my mind that this was not the norm (Jeez i used to ride just fine) I started lookin for a bike, which I have yet to find. Went to the DMV to knock out my learners, which is just 25 questions here and was abruptly reminded of all I did not know when after 20 questions or so the computer shut down, and said NOT TODAY DUMBA$$. So for the nonce I am going to make plans to retake the MSF course again and continue to check out this forum and pick the brains of those who have been there and done that in the last decade, since my knowledge of bikes lately is whether we are going to pin or nail a fractured femur. ps. sorry for the poor spellin, I don't ellicute too well either, S.E. Georgia Education. |
