| Well, I just signed up so thought I'd better say "Hello". I'm in hopes of learning something about motorcycles from you learned members !!. I have never owned a motorcycle before. 1948-49, I had a Whizzer motor bike. You bought the kit and put it on your own bicyle at that time. Only had 1 1/2 HP. and coudn't keep valves in it. Delivered a lot of newspapers to buy that thing. Anyway I've owned a 125cc scooter-Vespa look alike for the past year and have fun putting around town. Maybe use it more than the car now, 70 mpg. I completed the State motorcycle class to get my license. I just bought a 1977 Yamaha XS3602D. Will be delivered mid July. Nice shape. 11,000 mi on it. Good or bad it will be educating and interesting. I always liked the design of the older bikes. That's about it. I guess I'll be on the Yamaha forums mostly ?.. |

| Hello and thanks for the replies. Yep, I'm 73 and still good shape and rarely slow down. This XS360 looks like the older Honda CB's. Flat seat, flat gas tank. Spiffy looking. When I get it maybe I'll figure out how to send a picture.
