Hello, I'm a new member and returning to the two-wheeled world after 25+ years.

Picked up a nice, mint condition 1992 Honda 750 Nighthawk with under 5,900 miles on it...Used very little garaged kept for $1,600.

It passed inspection and all the rubber is in great shape, the bike was used but not much.......

Welcome to the forum Dan. I too went many years without riding and returned to it a couple of years ago, the kids are grown up now. Sounds like you got a really good deal on the Nighthawk, it amazes me how many bikes are out there with little use. Hey, one recommendation, take a class on riding through the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. I'm sure, like me, your skills have gotten a little rusty and the information there will help keep you safe on the streets.

Ride safe.

Welcome! My second bike was a 1992 Nighthawk. For that price, it was a steal!

Thanks for the warm welcome!!! This is my 6th motorcycle, it's been a long time since I last rode, however, so far I put 200 miles on the bike just riding in the country amongst the corn fields....

I was considering taking the MSF course, but it's too far from my house....I'm not planning any long distance rides, 52 year old butt can't take it!!!! Just little short cruises after dinner in the country smelling the country air and wild flowers!!! brings back lots of memories!!!

thanks

dan

If by rubber you mean tires too...........
If they are the originals, you WILL need new ones and you should do it fairly soon. Not good to ride on 15 year old tires, no matter how good they LOOK!
