Default another new old rider

hello from new mexico,
haven't owned or ridden a bike in 30 years. marriage, kids, bills, the usual stuff. the wife and me have decided that its time for a bike, kids gone, still happily married, still have bills, but not as many.
i've owned a 67 650 bonneville, a 67 650 bsa hornet, and a 66 750 norton atlas. plus a few assorted japanese dirt bikes.
MC's sure have changed since the 60's. at this point in my life i'm open to any suggestions on bikes, say 800-1100cc for light touring, nothing long distance. i'm not wedded to any particular make or model, and don't feel obligated to own a harley.
the wife hates alot of vibration, were both 60 years old, so we need dependable. my god i've got a motor mouth, so i will end this now.don't be put of by the length, i'm usually quite brief.

We have the C50T 800 plenty of power for wife me and all our gear for extended stays, 12liters of gas will take us around the 245 kilometer mark no real vibration and my wife (Lee) has plenty of room at the back, a small bike motor wise by todays standards but plenty powerfull enough for us, but big bike to cruise on, we have done up to 1000 k's in a day and enjoyed every minute in the last 9months we have done almost 20 thousand k's on this bike, and it is getting better all the time, take care....

The C50T is a great bike at the price. Will do everything you ask and still put a smile on your face.

I think I'll get lynched for this but look at a Triumph America, Bad Vibs are long gone,
Main reason for sujesting is if you haven't been on a bike for 30 years most modern bike will handle a hell of a lot differently to the ones you learnt on, and the America is a good compromise in getting back into riding, also when your past 55 modern sports bike don't do much for our backs and wrists

ladies and or gentleman,
a suzuki, well i'al be damn, would have never have thought of that?

after 30 years, i'm surprised that people consider 800cc to be a small bike, my how things have changed.
