Talking Brand Spankin'

What's up ya'll,

I just picked up my first bike a couple weekends ago. 2002 Suzuki Katana 600. It's got a Stage 1 Jet Kit, Scorpion Slip-On Exhaust, Chrome Rims, Windscreen, Pegs and Passenger Handle. Cosmetically, I think the bike looks great. It had 3565 miles on it when I got. I've been riding it off and on. Finally took it out into traffic, to see if I could handle it. Wasn't bad at all, in fact, I cranked it up to about 75mph. Considering that I'm a new rider, I think that popped my cherry.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to hearing from anyone that has good tips for first-time riders. Thanks and I'll holla back.

-Slim-

Welcome, Slim. Looks like a great find. Funny how someone would spend all that money on upgrades, then hardly ride the thing.

This forum is chock full of advice for new riders. Give 'er a read, and try out the search feature.
